If the frame is not part of the paragraph style, pressing Ctrl+Q will remove
it. But I doubt that you have "added frames to all [your] Word documents -
old and new." I suspect you're seeing text boundaries (Tools | Options |
View) or possibly just "crop marks" (see “Margin marks or crop marks appear
on each corner of the page when you open a document in Word 2002 or in Word
2003†at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=839371).
