Hi.

I entered an incorrect server name by mistake. Now when ever I click into my
windows mail i get the message below pop up in a box. How can I delete this
message? and where can I find my server name?
The host 'isp' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the
server name correctly.
Account: 'isp', Server: 'isp', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

Many thanks

The server name will come from your mail provider, which might well be
yahoo. It won't be hard for you to go to their support site and search for
setup directions; they are almost idential to those for Outlook Express.
It's one of the most common basic questions.

If you have an extra improperly configured Windows Mail account, go to
Tools, Accounts, select the relevant account, and choose Remove. Or, fix
it, via Tools, Accounts, <select account>, properties, Servers.
