remove end marks

Suddenly there are dots, squares and other little things in my text where I
enter or space. How can I remove these?

Nonprinting characters can be turned off and on by clicking ¶ in the
Standard toolbar. If that doesn't work, check the View settings in the
Tools | Options menu. See here for more info, and an explanation of how

There are two ways to remove dots, paragraph-marks etc:
1: On the Tools menu, click Option and then click View tab. Then, unselect
the three checkboxes below the Formating marks. If still you see the marks
follow step two below

2: Right click below the title bar anywhere in an empty area, then select
Standard. In the Standard bar click paragraph mark.
