I have a PC with Vista Premium.

I have uninstalled Nortons Internet Security including "Symantic Live
Update".
However, the Symantic Live Update icon remains in the Control Panel
(with the default icon), and of course does not work.

My question is how to remove this icon from the Control Panel?

Thanks

I have the same problem 60 days free Norton Symatec and after 30 days they
are hounding me for money and I wish I could erase all traces of that most
hated company but it is still in my control panel and I did searches on my
whole computer for Norton and Symatec and deleted all one by one and then I
even reinstalled and tried to remove to no avail.

NORTON SUCKS!!!

AH Symantec !!!!
there is a cleanup tool on the Symantec web site run it, or if you
are comfortable editting the registry you can do as earch for Symantec
& Norton entries, delete all you find [there will be plenty].
