Remove bug from Outlook: hidden attachment when main program not o

Sørensen

Hi!
I guess I have found a generel problem in Outlook 2007, since I have now
tried it on 4 different computers/setup and all have the same problem!

When you click a link to an email address on a webpage the new message
window opens.

- IF the "main program" Microsoft Outlook is open all workds as it should..

- IF Microsoft Outlook is NOT open in advance we get a problem: It is not
possible to attach files. Actually you can click the Attach button and choose
a file as normal, but the file does not appear below the subject line as
normal..!
(The file might actually be attached if you go ahead and send the email, but
it is not shown.)

This must be a bug!

Thanks!
Best regards
Sørensen

No need to repost.

I can repro that here. As a workaround you can press the expand arrow in the
Include section to display the Attachment Options pane. This will also
reveal the attached items.
