Version of Outlook?

Outlook2007 should always link them unless you upgraded and had the old
version set to send a copy. Look for this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Options\Mail
DWORD: Send Pictures With Document
Value should be 0 to send from the internet.

Outlook 2003:
Tools, Options, Mail Format, Internet Format
Uncheck "When an HTML message contains pictures located on the Internet,
send a copy of the pictures instead of the reference to their location"
OK out of the dialogs

Well, that makes all the difference - the key is in the registry and is for
Outlook, the PIM, not outlook express. I have no idea how to change the
setting in OE.

For help with Outlook Express issues, see http://www.insideoe.com/ or visit

Thanks so much for your help. I think I've got it. It's as simple as going to
tools and unchecking, send pictures. Again Thanks so much.
