Remove all traces of MS Project Trial version

I downloaded and tried to install MS Project trial version, but it hung and
I aborted install. Now when I try to rerun install I get message, "I must
first unintall previous Trial version. But when I look in Control Panel,
Add/remove
programs, MS Project does NOT appear.

I've tried removing and reinstalling complete MS Office. But still get
message,must first remove ms project trial version.

I am running WinXP on a NEC Versalite Tablet PC. I have WinXP SP2, with
Office XP for Tablet PC.

How can I remove all traces of MS Project Trial version?

BTW, I've already tried on the Project community and they referred me here.
