Remove a Replica name from the Synchronize List

Hi - looking for some help, I have a replicating database that has been
through a couple of upgrades and the database version name has changed.

The question is - can the old names be removed from the drop down options
list at the Synchronize 'Directly with Replica:' box when you choose to
replicate.

The names are held in a system table called 'MSysReplicas' - but this cannot
be edited.

I have tried replicating with the old name and Access reports the Replica
cannot be found and is removed from the list of replica, but this does not
appear to remove it from the above list. As I have several users on this
database, I really need to have only one option for them to replicate with.

Any help is apprecaited.

Regards.
