remove a hard return in a cell

how do I remove a hard return from a cell?
A find and replace mechanism for it would be great!

you can type =clean(cell name) to remove the formatting. Course, this would
also remove all spaces...

Select cell(s)
Edit | Find/replace
In Replace What enter Alt+0010
In With What - leave blank
best wishes

If by a hard return you mean Alt-Enter, then Edit/ Replace/ Find what:
Control J/ Replace with: [nothing]
