I am using MS Internet Explorer for surfing. When I enter
any www. website in the Address Box I can reach the the
desired website. But there are many websites that I have
entered and used once or twice and now I do not need/use
those websites.

Could any body let me know the process or keys to
delete/remove these website addreses from the Address Box
that are unnecearry occupying space.

I shall appreciate help. Thanks

find the site listing
right click -> delete
or
remove all autocomplete items.

Here is how to clear old websites (it clears away everything):

Start
Control Panel
Internet Options
General tab
History: Clear History button
Set the number of days to a
reasonable number.
Apply
OK
***
Also, if you are getting "help" from the old websites in completing an
address you enter in the address bar:
Content tab
Auto Complete button
Uncheck: "Web addresses"
OK
OK

If you want to get rid of all the drop down web addresses
that are showing up then you just go to the top of your
browser and clk "tools, then "internet options",
then "clear history", then "ok", then "ok" at the bottom
and they will be gone. (Note* This removes all of them
so if you want any of them then go and add them as fav's
before you delete them.)
