removal of system 32 folder from my desktop

please could someone tell me why my system 32 folder shows up on my desktop,
the only way i can take it off is to close it but it comes back when computer
is started again!!!!!?????? on windows xp home. how do i put it back to
wherever its come from. HELP!!!!

This can be caused by a blank entry, such as can be left behind by
an incomplete program removal, in the
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and/or
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run keys. It can also
be caused by an entry in these same keys that starts with a " / ."
