I have dual boot system in which windows 98 (fat32) is in
primary partition and windows 2000 Professional (NTFS) is
in secondary partition and i wish to format or delete my
secondary partiton. I tried Fdisk, Fdisk can't detect the
NTFS partition...do i have to delete the primary partition
i.e. fat32 to remove windows2000 from my machine

Either boot the Windows 2000 CD-Rom or setup disks. The set of four install
disks can be created from your Win2k CD-rom; change to the \bootdisk
directory on the cd-rom and execute makeboot.exe (from dos) or makebt32.exe
(from 32 bit) and follow the prompts. When you get to the point, delete the
Windows 2000 boot partition and abort the install.
