Removal of extra blank lines.

How do I stop the extra blank lines being inserted into an outgoing email
message.

It depends on which lines you are referring to and which version of Outlook
you are using.
For Outlook 2007, the email could show up as double spaced at some receiving
mail clients which do not support or strip embedded css.

To be absolutely sure that there won't be any additional space between the
lines at the side of the receiver, either use SHIFT+ENTER instead of ENTER
when going to a new line or use Plain Text.

I have to say this is utterly ridiculous. I don't send email terribly often
but I've been sending out a lot now that I'm unemployed and looking for
work... so now I've been sending out email in HTML format and I actually just
got an email back from a company 'just so you know' about my crap email
formatting skills!

I've looked all over the net in the past two days looking for a fix and
there still isn't one? What the heck!?!? I've got to go and add additional
software from another company or start typing how M$ thinks I should type?!
OR I have to buy M$ Word just so I can change the default formatting?

RTF formatting doesn't show up consistently on the couple web based clients
I tested it with and plain text looks awful when you're told to send your
resume in the body of the email.

Does M$ plan on ever fixing this problem or shall we continue to be ignored?
It's not like this isn't a big problem for a lot of their customer base.

Could someone please tell me where to direct my hate mail?

I support you totally.

The result is so variable, depending on the recipient.
Sometimes I receive an email, reply to it and then receive a response.
The response contains the original email text double-spaced :-(
