Removal of dual Win XP OS's

Greetings,

Can anyone provide insight into a way I can remove a duplicate copy of
Windows XP from my desktop PC? We had difficulties with a frozen startup
screen so the XP disk was reloaded.

Keep in mind that it's always a good idea to back up any files
you can's afford to lose before you take on a procedure which
makes significant changes to your hard drive.
