An opinion about everything

hi,

I have inherited a win2k domain at work which i want to overhaul. it
is currently 1 domain controller running everything. i have built a
second DC and joined it to the domain. what i now want to do is
remove the original DC and rebuild it. The trouble is that it is
performing all the roles in the domain, i.e. Global Catalog, Schema
Master etc.

Can anyone tell me (or point me in the right direction) as to how I
move these roles onto the new domain controller so that the original
one can be wiped?
