Hi,
I wanted to close a DC we have on our Win 2000 Active
directory domain. It was the PC that was installed with
NT4 and use to do the DCPromo between NT4 Domain and 2000
Domain.

I used this article to be sure all Role are on other DC.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/255690/en-us

I identify who have the RID, PDC, Infrastructure, Domain
Naming Master and Schema Master and no role are on the DC
i wish to close.

So all i have to do is to remove it from the domain and
close it? Is there any other things i should check first?

Guillaume,

Your message is a bit unclear, but it appears that you have a server that
used to be your NT4 server that was updated as the first 2000 DC. You plan
to decommission it and have verified that all of the roles have been
transferred off.

I would suggest the following...
1. Make sure that DNS, WINS, and DHCP are off of the server.
2. Shut the server down for a full week to see the effects of it being gone.
(Don't let it go much longer than that, though. You don't want to run into
tombstone problems -- usually at 60 days)
3. Bring the server back online and allow it to replicate back to the
current version of the directory.
4. Use DCPROMO to demote the server back to a member.
5. Retire the server.

If you are running Terminal Services be sure to check where your licensing
server is as well.
