Consider trying this approach:
1) note carefully the name of the item that is hanging the cleaning run.
close Microsoft Antispyware, without completing that run, and restart your
system in safe mode by pressing F8 function key before the initial Windows
screen appears.
Scan again--do a full, deep scan.
Mark the item which appeared to cause the hang as ignore for this cleaning
run.
See if you can clean everything else. repeat this scan/clean process until
you reach a scan with just the single item left on it. Then mark that one
remove or quarantine.
If you have music stored below an old Kazaa installation directory, please
move those files to a different location before proceeding with this advice.
