Removal of adware program

I use XP home. LoadGolfCourses, an adware statblaster program, installed itself in Jan when I clicked cancel on a pop-up. Spybot, ad-aware cannot remove, Norton says it is a protected file and I do not have authority to delete. It delays Windows on startup. Any suggestions?

You might find it in the registry,go to run,type:regedit Then expand HKEY_
LOCAL_MACHINE,software or under HKEY_USER,software. You can also go
to internet options,settings,view objects,R.click a file,properties,see if its
wanted if not delete.Go to run,type:%Temp% Go to edit,select all,delete
all,thier installation files, not needed after the install.
