removable drive dual boot

I.ve installed Windows Vista on a removable drive, becarce in a other bracket
is my data drive.
My wife finds Vista to difficault and wil stay on XP.
How make i XP dual boot , when sometimes The Vista drive is remove from the
PC.
My ol PC can i choose from post F5 with drive the PC booting from.

Hi,

You can't make XP dual boot, as its boot manager, ntldr, is incapable of
loading Vista. You'd have to be using the Vista bootlloader on the drive
that remains active, and set XP as the default boot entry.
