Remote Procedure Call (RPC) error

I receive the following error message while I am online
using AT&T ISP service:

Remote Procedure Call (RPC)Service terminated
unexpectedly. My PC automatically reboots. I would
apprecaite any help anyone can offer.

Your computer appears to have been infected by a nasty new worm.
To remove the worm, please read the instructions provided below:

you can prevent your computer from shutting down by clicking Start / Run.
Type SHUTDOWN -A. Click OK.

To stop the reboots: Go to Start/Run and type in: services.msc. Scroll down
to Remote Procedure Call (RPC)/Logon/First Failure/Restart the Service.

Then close Windows Explorer, End Process in the Task Manager for
msblast.exe, run the edit on line 257 then run the patch listed below it:
