Remote Procedure Call (RPC) causes windows to reboot

I just re-installed Windows XP Pro to my computer, after
formating the drive. After I activated windows and
started playing around online, An error message came up
that said windows was rebooting and it counted down from
a minute. Something about the RPC unexpectedly
terminating and The NT Authority/System shutting the
computer down. Anyone know what might be wrong here?
