Remote login to account with no password possible?

I found one web site that claims that Windows XP will not allow a
remote login to an account with no password. Another web site claims
that XP Professional blocks this, but it is possible under XP Home to
remotely login to an account with no password. Which is correct?

This depends on what you mean by "log on". XP Home does not support Remote
Desktop. XP Pro does. By default, XP Home and Pro only allows non-console
logons using the credentials of an account that has a password assigned.

This can be changed, but creates a security hole in your system, as all
anyone would have to do is guess the user name, and not worry about the
password.
