Remote desktop

When i connect to a remote desktop, the user who was logged on to that
desktop is locked out. When i the disconnect, that user is still locked out
and needs my password to get back in. Is there any way I can use remote
desktop without locking the user. Any advice would be appreciated

When you remotely connect to a computer you will log off the current user
assuming someone is logged on...Ok you should not disconnect but log off. If
log off is missing from the start menu pressing the Ctrl Alt End keys will
allow you to log off.
