Does XP Pro's remote desktop support mapping of local drives? (Similar to the way Terminal Services does?). I can't seem to figure it out.

Thanks

I don't think so. Remote Desktop is to control a remote computer. If you
want to map a drive, you need to create a WAN.

This is incorrect. You can map the drives from the computer that you're
actually using to the "remote" computer automatically.

When the dialog comes up to connect to the remote computer, click Options.
On the Local Resources tab, go to the Local devices section. You can select
Drives, Printers and Serial Ports. They will behave as if they were mapped
devices.

Thanks, Doug, I didn't realize you could do it that way.
