This is incorrect. You can map the drives from the computer that you're
actually using to the "remote" computer automatically.
When the dialog comes up to connect to the remote computer, click Options.
On the Local Resources tab, go to the Local devices section. You can select
Drives, Printers and Serial Ports. They will behave as if they were mapped
devices.
