Remote Desktop when using PowerPoint

I need to routinely change a PowerPoint on a computer that I need to access
remotely. I would like to be able to log on to that computer using Remote
Desktop, change the PowerPoint, View Show in full screen mode, and log off
while the slide show continues to run. However, the Start button is hidden if
I run the show in full screen. I can use short cuts (Ctrl & Esc) to get to
the Start Menu, but one I log off, the show does not continue to run. Plus
the user is logged off when I log on remotely. I need to do this at another
site, not located where I am, so I'm trying to think of a good alternative.
Any ideas?

Have a look at using
TightVNC instead of remote desktop
