Remote desktop to Linux

Is it possiable to use the remote desktop connection tool in windows xp pro
to connect to a live on cd knoppix linux computer that has no hdd (thats why
using live on cd)?
Or would I have to look for a 3rd party tool to remote desktop the computer.
I am not very good with linux ,but it is ALOT more sutiable to run on the
pentium 2 I recently refurbished (awaiting a hdd) so I am using it. I do need
a gui really, becuase as I said earlier my experiance with linux is very
limmited.

Solved it, I will wait until I get the Hard disk for it, then I will install
a distro that supports nx server and install that.
