Remote desktop stopped working

I have a windows xp pro laptop that I have regularly accessed via my desktop
using remote desktop. About 2 weeks ago it just stopped allowing remote
connections from any computer that is running windows xp pro. I have a
server Windows 2003 and I can access the laptop through remote desktop
initiated from the server running Windows 2003. All the XP machines are
running SP2. Any suggestions on what is going on here?
 
Maybe an IPSEC policy was changed to require encryption and the other XP
nodes are attempting unencrypted comms?
 
Could this have any thing to do with the 2003 GPO rules? I am seeing the
exact same problem with one of my systems. I can access any of my XP
systems using the 2003 server but not from workstations.
