Hi,

Perhaps....

- If your work allows usage of their system like this.
- If WIndows XP Pro is installed on the system being accessed remotely (Home
does not have this feature, but any machine can be used to access a properly
enabled Pro system)
- If your company's net admin will allow access through port 3389 in the
company's firewall.

How to Use the Remote Desktop Feature of Windows XP Professional

.

If you have a packet writing software for burning a CD
then all you need to do, is drag and drop the files from
your home pc to your work cdburner, if you have the access
to your home pc files, it's easy.

Nero should allow this type of burning.

You would need to first format your cd using nero to allow
drag and drop, then make sure you close the cd before
ejecting, to allow another driver to read the cd.

Hmm.. I can drag & drop files from my homepc to my work place? I thought I can't do that.

remote desktop allows you to work on your REMOTE computer as if you were
there.
How do you plan on transfering the files from the local computer to the
remote computer?
That is the real problem, especially if you have a slow connection.

One method I use is having 2 msn messenger acounts one running on the local
pc and one on the remote,
and through the msn file transfer I send files from one machine to the
other.
You can also use email, or ftp or this program that is free and very nice

If you can see the files on your home pc, the system
considers it just like a networked drive.
if you have the proper software to write packet on the cd
then yes you can copy the files to the cd no problem.
