Hi Guys,

I'm not even sure if this is possible with Win XP.

When i remote into my home PC, who ever is logged in gets kicked off/logged
out. Is there anyway for me to set it up so that when i log it they can see
my every move? Like VNC.... if anyone knows what that is?

Hope this makes sense.

Many Thanks

Steve

You would need to use Remote Assistance, not Remote Desktop, if you want the
person on the remote computer to see what you're doing.

Another option is to install TeamViewer on both systems.

Good luck

Thanks for that, only being one issue. I can't install any 3rd party programs
on this PC, Even web based applications such as Logmein.com wont work. I need
to use only windows based options i have available.

Is there anyway to use Remote Assistance without Messenger etc? A way to log
in like RDP session?

Remote Assistance will require someone seated at the remote computer to complete
the connection. You can't just log in like you do with Remote Desktop.

There is an unsupported hack available on the net that could help in your
situation. Do a Google search for concurrent remote desktop sessions. Since this
isn't something I'd recommend, you're on your own with this. Keep in mind that
you'd be replacing files on your home computer with versions that have been
modified.
