Remote desktop on a LAN

How do I configure remote desktop access for my LAN? I
can't seem to locate the computer that I want from the
Remote Desktop menu. Any thoughts???

I had to actually type in the name of my computer into the other computer to
access my Remote Desktop.
Make sure that the computer you are trying to connect to is Windows XP Pro
though. XP Home won't host remote desktop, but will allow you to connect to
a remote desktop
