Remote Desktop Logon Trouble

Hi gang,

I have Remote Desktop running on WinXP Pro and am
connecting from the same at home. For some reason, I am
getting the logon screen but when I try to type in my
password, all I hear is a beep. I can not key in my
password or even click on anything in the window. This
used to work and nothing has changed to the best of my
knowledge. Just curious if anyone else has seen this.

Can you start a CMD window and type "ping -t <serverWinXP>" and then try to
connect through Remote Desktop. Can you tell us if you notice any dropped
packets when you start the remote connection or if everything is alright?
