pc haung-up when logon with rdp

alex

I have this problem only with one pc, that is new, a Dell Workstation with
xp pro 32 bit
When I log on with remote desktop, after I write the password and push logon
button, the logon windows became grayed and the pc stop responding from
mouse and keyboard. Even logon from remote desktop is frized. The pc is
still available by the network (shares and ping work) but is complitly
locked.
The only way is to do a hard reset.
Any idea of the cause?
Thank you
Alessandro

Make sure the video drivers on both the Remote Desktop [RDC] host and client
are up to date.
