Does anyone know if there is anyway to install the 'host' element of Remote
Desktop Connection into XP Home or will I have to get XP Professional to use
this feature?

Remote desktop Connection is available on winXP home or Pro install cd and it
is available for download for older versions of windows. See this link for

You would have to get Pro or - much cheaper since its free - get one of
the flavors of VNC such as UltraVNC:

Microsoft Remore desktop is free and available on the XP home cd and Pro.

There is also an install file available for free for 0lder Windows versions.

I read the OP as saying he wanted to use the Home machine as host, which

My Bad... My link was for client only.. Malke is right... The Host must
have XP Pro installed. Now what did I do with my flask....
