Remote Desktop and Netware Environment

We are a Netware 5.0 shop with XP Pro workstations. No
Windows servers or domain. All XP workstaions are
members of a WORKGROUP. What are the limitations if any
using RD in this environment. We are behind a Watchguard
firewall with no need to connect from outside. Intend to
use internally on LAN to facilitate troubleshooting and
administration.

I'm not aware of any--you won't be able to use domain-based policy settings
to control RD usage, but such policies are usually used to lock things down,
and you probably want to use it, rather than restrict it.

You should test--I know that the Netware client may cause some issues
(purposely vague--I really can't remember!) with some networking
interactions--I think perhaps there are some oddities about the login
process. If it works between an arbitrary pair of workstations with your
standard software installation, I suspect that experience will be
representative.
