Remote Desktop and AOL

Are there problems using Remote desktop to connect to a
Windows 2000 Terminal server with AOL as tha isp.

I believe I have done this in the past, but, of course, AOL client feature
change, etc.

Trying it, and posting precise symptoms may bet better advice, although the
messages if you can't connect will be precisely the same whether the issue
is a bad IP address for the host or a blocked port somewhere along the line.

If you can demonstrate that a client with some other form of Internet
connection works, and an AOL-connected user can't work, then you may need to
deal with AOL's support on the question. I would expect this to work, but
as I say, I haven't tested with the latest client versions.
