Remote DC crashed

C

Carlos

I am currently replacing DC at a remote location that had
crash. The crashed DC does not have reliable backup that
I could use to restore. The DC is going to be in a
different subnet, but in the same Domain. My plan of
action it to rebuild the DC at my location and start
replication of Active directory. After replication has
finished , change the IP address to fit the remote subnet
and ship it to its home location. I want to know if this
solution will work or if I should wait until the DC is at
its home location before I install AD and start
replication. I am open to any suggestions.
