Remote Connection To Windows 2000 Server

Hi,

I am new to terminal services and this may sound very easy to you experts,

I have setup a windows 2000 server on our network and configured terminal services, i can connect to the server from any of our networked PC's no problem.

What i want to know is how do i connect to this server from a PC that is not actually on the network? For example my computer at home ... what do i need to connect to the Windows 2000 server ... what do i need to configure?

I have tried looking everywhere for this information, i know it must be very obvious to you people, and i wold appreciate any help you can provide me.

Thank You.

Most probably, your corporate network is behind a firewall. You
will need to forward port 3389 on the firewall to the Private
IPaddress of your Terminal Server.
From home, you point your rdp client to the Public IPaddress of
the firewall.
