Remote Call Procedure

Hello, every 5 minutes I get an error message, "Remote
Call Procedure Terminated Unexpectedly" and my computer
restarts itself. It is annoying and frustrating because I
cannot find any help on my system to locate what this
problem is. Can anyone tell me what to do to patch this
problem? Thanks

Greetings --

If you connected the PC to the Internet without having first
installed the KB824146 Hotfix, without having first installed an
antivirus application with current virus definition files, and before
enabling a firewall, you're very likely to get infected from any of
the thousands of PCs on the Internet that are constantly broadcasting
the Blaster and/or Welchia worms.

Use Google or listen to the radio or watch the news. This is a world-wide
problem that went around a couple of weeks ago. Keep your computer up to
date.

The exact same thing happened to me this morning after
an installation of XP on an extended partition last night.
To remedy, I went back to my Win98(on the primary
partition), then went to the Symantec website to download
the Blaster fix onto a floppy. I assume that I had the
worm all along in the hard drive without it ever
disturbing my Win98.
