Remote Assistance- Lingering Remote Host problem

I have followed the threads on "the remote host could not be reloved" with
remote assistance and have tried everything, I THINK. I am trying to
connect to a novice XP home machine using a 2wire home portal to SBC DSL anda
D-Link 524 wireless G router. One the novice computer, I have enabled UPnP,
followed the directions from D-Link's support site to forward port 3389 on
the IP address listed in ipconfig, etc.

The invitation I get suggests that the novice computer is still behind a NAT
firewall:

/></UPLOADINFO>"

I think one of the problems lies in the port forwarding technique I am
using. http://support.dlink.com/faq/view.asp?prod_id=1324

It tells me to use ipconfig to get my ip address, but I still get a
192.168.0.101
I have enabled DMZ on the 2wire home portal.

I have also tried using Messenger, same error message.

I have made sure the firewall exceptions include Remote Assistance and UPnP

What else??
