Remote Assistance - Connection stalls

Both sides use WLM on Windows Vista Ultimate. Connection process stalls
when password is entered and sent out. It happens whether the process is
initiated either by Invitation of or Request for Remote Assistance.
There is no such problem if one side uses Windows XP Professional.
Could anyone help?
 
Correction: Please read "either by Invitation of or Request for Remote
Assistance" as "either by Offer or Request for Remote Assistance".
