Remote Assistance Client for Win2K

Hello, I'm trying to get Remote Assistance working on my "Study Network"
(WSvr2.3K and Win2KPro) I've managed to get the Remote Desktop to work by
installing from the server. But now I'm trying to get Remote Assistance
working and I can't find a client for this. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks --- Mike

If I may recomend my favorite solution realvnc.com use it allot as long as
you have tcp/ip access to the device.

Woops almost forgot the remote assist client is in accessories communications
remote desktop connection. Or you can download from download.microsoft.com
search for terminal server client.

Steve and Ras. Thanks for the replies. However I'm specifically looking for
a "Remote Assistance" client or the encompassing application. I've managed
to add the Remote Desktop client from the server2.3K CD; But this does not
appear to support the tools needed for "Remote Assistance." I checked the
"download.microsoft.com" and searched for "remote assistance client." I only
get one hit; and it concerns only XP. I'm begining to think that no MS win2K
remote assistant client exists.

Yes true remote assis works only for XP. it uses a light weight Terminal
Server service. Can you share with me what the specific applicationis. As
previously stated I sue VNC for remote access to desktops. There are a couple
of fee based services which provide desktop sharing. My understanding was
that you are looking for a solution for your lab.

Ras, thanks for the confirmation. My interest comes from using the MS study
guide for the 70-290 exam -- one of the exercises is to use Remote
Assistance. Guess I'll just have to install XP on one of the study machines.
Thanks again. --- Mike

Steve,
Why did you post a link to your TS?
Just wondering
Ras

as an example of IE based client (which can be used by all, not just to
my TS server)

Mr. Parry,

What are you referring to when you mention an IE based client? You sample
looks different than the connection I use for TS administration via IE.

Thanks,
CM
