We have a server with Google Desktop installed on it, and a number of clients
have remote access to that server (through a plugin) to search the emails and
files on that computer. However, if we want to open the attachments or reply
to a particular email that was returned in the Google Desktop search results,
then Outlook on the server has to be opened.
Is there any way to access Outlook on the server remotely for such a
purpose? The only method I've found so far is to change the permission of the
Inbox folder on the server's Outlook, so that certain users on the Exchange
server can open that folder through their own Outlook. But what we really
want to do is allow the Outlook to open up automatically through clicking
"Reply", "Forward", etc. in the Google Desktop search results.
