Remote Access Issue

Hello, Could someone tell me why my computer
automatically starts the dial-up modem connection when I
have the my computer on? I'm running MS XP home edition.
When I look at the task it's running: RASAUTOU.EXE-
18B88A68.pf. Is this part of a virus?
