Reminders when Outlook isn't running?

J

James

Is there a way to have reminders pop up even when Outlook 2003 isn't
running? When I was using MS Works Calander on my old computer, it did
this just fine, even when I hadn't yet opened Works Calander.

Thanks,
James

Not in Outlook but there are third party programs that can do this:

Actually I was more interested in the calander reminders. Does that
change anything?

That's because the Works Calendar _was_ running, you just didn't know it. I
suspect the reminder tool was started either via your registry or the
Startup program group.
