Reminders are not working with Tasks in Outlook 2003

Hi all!!! I need a bit of help. I have a user who has created an additional
task project in the tasks folder. He sets reminders and they are not
functioning. I have tested on my networked pc also and get the same results.
I also ran the clean reminders on my PC and still the reminders are not
working. Can anyone help??
 
Please include your version of Exchange and O/S. Have you checked the
application event viewer for any Outlook or Office issues? Is Office fully
patched?
 
We are using Outlook 2003 and XP. I did not check the event viewer - i will
do that. It is fully patched.
 
Do you know what version of Exchange? You had already included the version of
Outlook in the subject line.
