Reminder alerts not being sent

I set reminders on items in my inbox, tasks and calendar as I need the
feature where the reminder pops up continually. For some reason, these no
longer occur. I've checked the Tools/Options/Other/Advanced Options/Reminder
Options tp verify that the reminder alerts are set. They are but I do not
receive the alerts. While, I do not receive the reminders on my PC, I am
receiving the reminders on my hand held which is linked to my Outlook.
Additionally, Ive tested the View/Reminder Window, by creating items and
setting the reminders and the test items do not show. How can get the
reminder alerts back?

See if starting Outlook with the /cleanreminders switch solves your issue.
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /cleanreminders

I forgot to mention that I am on a server. I have the procedures for the
cleanreminders as posted on 3/29/2007 Article id 296192. My PC doesn't have
a Run option on the Start menu. Is there another option?

You're on Vista? Type Run in the Search box or use Windows Key+R or your
keyboard.

No, WindowsXP. I think I will have to go back to the IT support area.
Thank you for your help. I really appreciate the quick response and the
clarity in the information provided. I'll file it in the event I have a
problem with my home PC.

Note that Windows key+R in Windows XP also brings up the Run command.
