Reminders are always past-due

99% of the time, I do not see reminders for calendar items until the items
are at least a couple of hours past due. Often, I'll come in in the morning
and see a reminder box with a complete list of the "past-due" reminders for
the previous day's activities. Any ideas about what is causing that?

By the way, my clock and time zone are correct.

Was the machine on all night? I'm guessing that the reminders fired BEFORE
the activities and just stayed there because nobody ever
cleared/acknowledged them.

What version of Outlook are you using?

Hi Ben,

The version is 2003.
My machine is always on, but I don't always leave Outlook on.
Every few days I'll do a reboot, just for the heck of it.

Another example that happened this morning: I came in and started Outlook
around 7:00 AM to check my emails. I worked on the computer until around
8:45 AM when I left to attend a 9:00 AM meeting. I returned to my office
around 10:00 AM and continued working on my computer. Around 11:00 AM the
reminder screen popped up letting me know that my 9:00 AM meeting was two
hours past due. The reminder is set to notify me 30 min. in advance, and I
didn't see any reminder before that.

I should have received a reminder for an 11:00 AM appointment (lunch!), but
it hasn't popped up yet. (It's currently 3:15 PM)

I have resorted to putting my important reminders in Yahoo and having them
emailed to me, but that's tedious.
