Reminders and find do not work

I started using Outlook 2000 in a new pc (copying over the original Outlook.pst file) but the reminders either do not come up or they all appear suddenly and at an arbitrary moment. Once they appear, they cannot be deferred (using the 'snooze' button) nor cleared

Also, the search function no longer works in any folder - it just takes forever to produce no result

Any ideas how to resolve these problems?

Hi,
I saw your post, I wish I could help but I'm having the same exact problem. I've yet to find a solution. Have you?

Try restoring Outlook..

Start, Control Panel, Microsoft Office, Change, Install and
Repair..Reinstall or Repair..detect and repair errors in my Office
installation.

If you only have Outlook then look for the Outlook folder. The only time
they appear at the same time is if you have Outlook closed.

Good luck!
