Reminder will not appear

Hi,
I have started getting getting teh following error message when I try to add
a reminder to a calendar entry:

"The reminder for <message> will not appear because the item is in a folder
that doesn't support reminders. Id this OK?"

What does this mean and what do I do to remedy the problem?

outlook version? Is this a calendar that you have created along with the
default calendar?

This is occurring in Outlook 2007 running on a Dell Vista PC. I have not
created a new calendar, so assume its happening in the default calendar.

Oh, I've just realised that I had selected "Calendar in Archine Folders",
rather than the default calendar. By deselecting that and selecting the
default calendar, the problem is resolved. Milly, thank you very much for
your help.
