Remembering password for mapped drives

I have Windows 2000 Pro. When I first map to a netowrk
drive I need to add a username and password. Is there a
way to remember the username and password? I know there
is a check-box on XP but I don't see it on W2K.
 
Do you have a domain in place, or is this peer to peer networking? If the
former, you ought to be logging onto the domain and that should grant you
the access with no password required. If you're using peer to peer, you
could set up identical accounts & passwords on all PCs so that this isn't
necessary.
